haha, yah i went with a star runner build and grabbed star every chance i can.

1.) Create game on Arena.
2.) Add one bot on Easy.
3.) Increase powerup count to max.
4.) ?????
5.) Profit.

stars don’t spawn until there are actual players

I have them all, but I kinda cheated.  I helped with the Beta.

yup! it went live last night .. .but the server search function is a bit broken (wooops!) ... we’re patching again tonight at 18:00 GTM .. and will announce the patch/ competition tomorrow :D

Very nice, it started updating just as soon as I posted that as well. Looking forward to all future fixes and updates.

Same. I really enjoy this game.

I’ve only got four of hte persistent perks though :(

Workin on SUPER EXPLOSION right now.

I haven’t tried that one yet, but chain reaction is kind of funny when you’re in a small practice match on the map Don’t Be Square with 20 bots set to hard so they’re aggressive in terms of just outright gunning for you. Then you just hit the perk, launch yourself into the melee and go nova and watch about a dozen little added blips appear with half of the arena getting emptied in the process.

Say, this competition won’t be about who has the most stars, will it?

I have like 550 650 700 stars saved up that I’m now afraid to spend.

edit: Related to the topic, if I spent them I’d have all persistent perks.

So why not spend them? I can’t imagine that the devs would just wipe out the star data and perks without a good reason. If things do change, I suspect we’ll at least get an option to sell or refund our stars. If not, then there’s really no reason to cry about it.
